Anadolu Sigorta’s Istanbul Offices
Erginoğlu & Çalışlar have designed a new office space for insurance company Anadolu Sigorta located in Istanbul, Turkey.
Due to the impact of today’s changing work culture on the perception of office space, companies have started to see their headquarters in a brand new way. Anadolu Sigorta, a leading insurance company in Turkey, decided to keep up with the change and redesigned its headquarters as well as relocating it to Kavacık, Istanbul. Anadolu Sigorta Headquarters Project is a collaborative work by Jones Lang LaSalle, Erginoğlu & Çalışlar and Diem Mühendislik Mimarlık.
Open-minded companies that question the concept of “innovation”, which we have increasingly come to hear more about, have been changing their workspaces as well as working systems during the recent trends of innovation. A workplace to 650 employees, Anadolu Sigorta’s new headquarters is located on a 10.000 m2 facility in Kavacık, Istanbul. The headquarters are designed by Erginoğlu & Çalışlar Architects, with Jones Lang LaSalle as the Project Manager. The project’s aim was to create an innovative and comfortable office space which can be used by a leading insurance company in Turkey for the next 10 years.
Although in essence the project consists of a building that functions as the central workplace, it houses both work and rest areas. These areas use Koleksiyon’s Barbari desk systems designed by Studio Kairos, Swami executive desks designed by Faruk Malhan, and Khan meeting tables designed by Koray Malhan. Dilim and Ikaros sofas are placed in different spots for those who want to rest or do work in isolation. Tellasmar, Sambia, Opera, Babil and Serdiyar sofas, Monte Cristo armchair and Suri pouf, collaboratively designed by Sezgin Aksu and Silvia Suardi, are placed within different places in the building to meet various needs.
