Studio Nord / Mail.Ru Games – Saint Petersburg Offices
BRIZ STUDIO has developed a new office design for Studio Nord / Mail.Ru Games located in Saint Petersburg, Russia.
Studio Nord / Mail.Ru Games office is located on 2 floors. The floors are connected with an in-office staircase, specially designed for the project and possible to use as an extra exit in case of emergency. Reception zone, open workspace, cloakroom and restrooms are located on the 7th floor of the building. Part on the 8th floor is designed as a communication zone, with a recreation space, canteen, meeting rooms, sound recording studio, showers and an extra restroom. Two smaller meeting rooms are located in the reception zone. Guests can use the cloakroom and restrooms without having access to the work area.
Zones within the open workspace are designed with an individual approach, taking into consideration various styles of work of different departments. Individual approach broadens from planning, color and lighting solutions to choosing special shapes of working desks. Mobile partitions finished with wood and equipped with adjustable flowerpots mark the border between departments; separate passages from group work zones and lend the space a comfy eco-touch.
Meeting rooms’ interior has a flair of Scandinavian simplicity. Walls are finished with custom designed veneer panels.
Floors, walls and ceilings in the work area are finished with neutral natural colors; bright colors appear in communication and recreation areas. Colors and shapes of furniture and lights mark the space of the communication zone, aiming to encourage creativity, informal communication and development of personal relations within the team. Recreation space can perform different scenarios, from big meetings to a festive dinner or movie screening.
