  • The Super Bowl 50 Host Committee has recently moved into a temporary office space in San Francisco where they will be conducting planning operations for the game which will be taking place in February 2016. We have previously looked the the NFL’s headquarters.

The game on February 7, 2016 – Super Bowl Sunday – will be hosted in the state-of-the-art Levi’s® Stadium in Santa Clara, California. The 50th Super Bowl will kick off the first week of February 2016, with a weeklong series of public events beginning January 30. These events will include the NFL Experience and the Super Bowl Fan Village, featuring activities for all ages that celebrate game of football, as well as all that the San Francisco Bay Area has to offer from arts and culture to live entertainment, and food and drink.

The Host Committee is focused on creating a Super Bowl that not only brings people together, but also lifts them up. An unprecedented 25% of every dollar raised by the San Francisco Bay Area Super Bowl 50 Host Committee will go toward supporting Bay Area nonprofits.

Our San Francisco offices are LEED Gold certified and features locally-sourced furniture, including tables and benches made of reclaimed wood from the Cal Berkeley stadium and handrailing from the Golden Gate Bridge. Our in-office Art Program will include rotating work for sale by Bay Area artists; a portion of the sale will go to our Legacy Fund. Our first artist is San Francisco-based Chad Hasegawa, who is known for taking the California’s state animal, the Grizzly Bear, as his primary subject.
