  • Vanessa Kress has designed the offices of cloud solutions company Infopark located in Berlin, Germany.

Infopark AG was established in Berlin in 1994. Over 70 employees create cloud-based solutions for the stable operation of large websites there. Infopark‘s innovative content management products Fiona and Scrivito are the basis for hundreds of successful websites for customers such as Max Planck Society, OBI, the state of North Rhine-Westphalia, the Federal Agency for Public Property (BIMA), Nuremberg Airport, the cities of Munich, Dortmund and Berlin, the federal government of Luxembourg and more.

The office rebuilding was an integrated development of an interior design concept in collaboration with the founders of Infopark – with regard to spatial needs, requirements and wishes. The focus of the project was to create different spaces within the office which adapt to the current working situation (silence/concentration, meeting, group working, socializing). We also wanted to encourage the employees
to change their body position frequently (standing, sitting on an office chair, sitting on a bar stool, walking around, even laying down, …) in order to prevent health problems. It also should motivate people to change your workplace within the office frequently to meet people of other project teams and exchange views, experiences and ideas. We have a free home office policy anyday anytime at Infopark, so we wanted to make the office actually to a place where people like to go to.

It took us six months to progress from the first planning designs and the getting of the original offices until the realization of the new, ready-for-occupancy office space.
