PEMCO Insurance – Spokane Offices
HDG Architecture | Design have completed the design for the new offices of PEMCO Insurance located in Spokane, Washington.
PEMCO Insurance is a Pacific Northwest owned company whose old Spokane office space was located on multiple floors making collision points and interaction between departments challenging. The new office space with an eclectic mix of furniture and graphics provides employees with diverse work neighborhoods. Each neighborhood is accompanied with a park to serve as gathering space for informal meetings.
The use of artificial grass and wood at the entry and parks are reminders of the company’s roots in the northwest. The transparent nature of the interior is designed to bring the outdoors in and maximize light. The fitness room, wellness room and café all support employee health and relaxation. The new office environment has provided employees with a space which encourages interaction, employee health and connection to the outdoors to ensure that the company is doing the right thing for their employees.
