easyJet Offices & Training Facility – London Gatwick Airport
Area Sq has continued their longstanding relationship with easyJet, with a new workplace and training facility at Gatwick Airport – the easyJet Gatwick Academy.
The brief detailed how the easyJet Academy had to work alongside the existing facilities at easyJet’s Luton Academy.
The project consists of a five-floor easyJet training academy including training rooms, a café area and cabin simulator suite, all of which were designed to encompass the brand values that are so prolific at easyJet’s head office in Hangar 89 and in the Academy both in Luton. The biggest and most exciting challenge of the project was overseeing the installation of an airbus simulator into the ground floor. Area Sq inched the full size bespoke cabin emergency evacuation trainer (CEET trainer) into the office building with only millimetres to spare.
