Made up mostly of newcomers to TechTown Portland, the founders of ImpactFlow were drawn to the city for its unique and creative community. The company worked with Portland-based interior design firm Weedman Design Partners to transform a desolate warehouse into a space that would capture the spirit of Portland and serve as a home away from home for an office full of transplants.

“Our goal was to create an environment that is open and easy for ImpactFlow to work, grow and entertain within,” says Arielle Weedman of WDP. “Most of the pieces are movable, with a few discreet places for acoustic privacy and focused work. The colors are fun and fresh, inspired by the company’s energy. We also brought together modern and vintage aesthetics, which gives the space a comfortable-lived in feel—while still feeling youthful and forward-thinking.”

The result is a colorful, light-filled 4,000 square foot space full of thoughtful details drawing inspiration and materials from the surrounding city and state. The 30’ high open truss ceiling and glass-enclosed conference room provide an inviting atmosphere, while unassigned seating creates a collaborative work environment that reflects ImpactFlow’s values and culture.

“ImpactFlow’s previous office was in a co-working space,” says Armon Moore, Chief Creative Officer / Co-founder of ImpactFlow. “As our number of employees grew, we were forced to spread out more and more throughout the building. In this new space, we’re all together on one level, communication between teams is better and productivity has gone up.”
