AvalonBay Offices – San Jose
IA Interior Architects have developed the new offices of AvalonBay located in San Jose, California.
AvalonBay has a reputation for developing and managing distinctive apartment home communities, so naturally they wanted their San Jose corporate office to reflect accordingly. Located within Santana Row, the 10,000 sq. ft. space was renovated to be a high end office that was also still practical.
The workspace section is lined with private offices enclosed by glass to maintain the open feel. Just around the corner is a multipurpose kitchen/cafe area that functions as space for breaks and well as meetings with booths and tables separated by unique geometric cutout walls. A stunning conference room includes full length windows for abundant daylight, bright pops of color as well as a retractable glass wall for flexibility in connecting with the cafe area. Maximum use of both office and amenity space has been achieved in this design.
