HCF House Lobby – Sydney
WMK Architecture has designed the new lobby, business center, and café for health insurance company HCF located in Sydney, Australia.
Through creative planning and close consultation with HCF and project managers Penlan Consulting, WMK Architecture has turned HCF’s foyer into a vibrant and valuable building facility. HCF’s foyer is now both an entry point of distinction and an alternative activity-based work environment complete with a lush living green wall and café.
With its prime position on York Street and its warm timber panelling and rich stone flooring, the new café makes the most of all-day passing trade while bringing bustle and energy to the foyer and generating revenue for the building owners.
However the real innovation is the inclusion of a bookable business centre, a resource available to all tenants in the building, featuring a mix of meeting rooms and flexible spaces, a kitchen, and touch-down spaces.
HCF’s lobby, café and business centre have now become bustling destinations in the CBD for meeting, socialising, and working and will return real value to the building’s owners – not only by attracting quality tenants, but also adding lustre to HCF’s employer brand.
