Red 5 Studios Offices – Laguna Hills
LPA has developed the new offices of game development company Red 5 Studios located in Laguna Hills, California.
The new 62,850-square-foot Red 5 Studios workspace reflects the immersive worlds and intriguing stories told through their online games. The space includes collaborative team areas and private, focused meeting spaces, supporting their interactive and iterative process of video game development.
Team members are able to gather around the open café/bar areas that are the hubs of activity and energy, and are visible from all open office areas. Foosball and casual lounge areas invite conversation, spontaneous interactions and occasional gameplay. Large meeting rooms support the viewing and critiquing of gaming products at key milestones. The unique 120-degree workstation design provides nonlinear lines of sight; no team member directly faces another, resulting in an open office environment.
The natural polished concrete floors and reclaimed wood finishes are accented by bold black and orange graphics that reflect the company’s brand and logo. The resulting design is full of energy and interaction—a true reflection of Red 5 Studios’ culture.
