Options Medical Offices – Gainesville
Trimark Properties has designed this new office for Options Medical, a medical device distributor located in Gainesville, FL.
The office building is located in Gainesville’s technology district, Innovation Square, which is a commercial real estate development catering to tech companies and startups.
Prior to the custom build-out, the 14,000 square foot building had a shabby exterior and a mix-matched set of clients. In 2015, Trimark Properties began a complete interior and exterior building renovation that included external façade improvements, the addition of art deco styled eco-friendly aqueducts, the removal of the 1970s drop ceilings, and the addition of eye-catching interior features such as store-front glass walls, roll-up garage doors with glass inserts, exposed ductwork, and polished concrete flooring.
The neutral tones set against a stark white backdrop create an environment of serenity- an important aspect for an office that frequently receives visits from out-of-town sales people with hectic schedules. The white exposed ceiling, fluorescent lighting, and a wide open layout make the offices feel spacious, airy, and clean. The individual offices are enclosed in glass but offer privacy when needed. The workstations in the open office area were kept white to continue with the clean design styles.
The expansive conference room includes a roll-up, glass-shutter door that lets in natural light, and it also serves as an entry point to their outdoor meeting space which is surrounded in virgin cypress. Oversized pendant lamps provide warmth and elegance against the white backdrop walls. The antique style Edison light bulbs emit an orange hue, which adds a timeless charm to this office’s reception area.
The design style balances industrial and natural materials to create a sophisticated, timeless office for the Options Medical team.
