  • Chudin Design Collective has designed the new offices of educational hip-hop company Flocabulary, located in Brooklyn, New York.

They wanted a bright and colorful space that was fun and sophisticated at the same time. The office has a few break out areas for lounging, as well as a large “classroom” for hosting meet-up groups. There are three conference rooms all with a unique furniture layout. One with living room style, one with lounge and tables used mostly as a “quiet room” for the tech team, and a third conference room with a more traditional layout. There are 3 call rooms as well as a mother’s room. Additionally, there is a recording studio for creating the Flocabulary music.

All of the conference rooms and call rooms feature wallpaper that was designed and fabricated in Brooklyn, NY. Artwork was sourced via Etsy, and Deny designs. The colorful carpet patterns are by FLOR tile and inspired by the FLOR tile area rugs. Each employee has a sit to stand desk by multitable as well as a Sayl chair from Herman Miller.
