OVOSound Offices – Toronto
I-V has designed the new offices of record label OVOSound, located in Toronto, Canada.
Commissioned by Noah Shebib of OVO, the brief was simple – ‘Gimme that Moroccan swag’. To meet this brief we looked at traditional motifs and archetypes and distilled them down into simple geometries and elegant materials – taking the essence of the traditional and transforming it into the hyper-modern. What made this project so successful was that we were allowed to practice our craft in the purest form with very few boundaries and very few conditions. We even designed the entrance facade and linear windows. All it had to be was beautiful and functional.
