Fairfax Media Limited Offices – Newcastle
Evoke Projects has designed the new offices of media company Fairfax Media Limited, located in Newcastle, Australia.
Evoke Projects created the workplace design and fit-out for the new Fairfax Media Limited office at the Honeysuckle Precinct in Newcastle. It was a very important project for Fairfax Media as it was to be the new home for the Newcastle Herald after decades at their previous location.
Evoke created a workplace strategy that offered a different perspective and new ideas to help Fairfax on their journey as they implemented activity based working. Evoke worked collaboratively with Fairfax’s internal management which gave the client the opportunity to jointly identify the best design and workplace strategy to meet the needs of the business as they transition to the digital age. The Evoke Projects team took ownership of the design and construction programme providing clear and transparent direction to Fairfax management .
The project was delivered on time, within budget and with minimal disruption to the business. The feedback from Fairfax staff and management has been very positive and the new environment has had a positive impact on workplace culture.
