XTX Markets Offices – Singapore
Realys has designed the new offices of financial tech company XTX Markets, located in Singapore.
The dynamic UK-based financial technology firm, XTX Markets, has expanded its operations with their first Asian workplace. After selecting Singapore for that expansion, XTX Markets then chose and awarded Realys and their Design-led Construction approach to capture the essence of XTX Markets’ brand and workstyle for the 2,600sq ft (240 sq m) tenancy.
Entering reception, the references to the global operations of XTX Markets are discretely illuminated adjacent to the panoramic view of the Marina Bay Waterfront. This is complemented by the selected Andrew Martin sofa chairs and tables atop a shag-pile custom rug, that offer a comfortable place to recline and enjoy a coffee from the adjoining breakout cafe, or to watch the energy at the foosball table nearby.
Leading off reception, the 16 person boardroom is characterised by its refined finishes, fully supported by the latest communications technology to enable confidential and secure discussions either privately or electronically.
The core desk space was kept open and spacious to capture the vibrancy of the floor, with 20 customised desks incorporating electrically height-adjustable work surfaces that can support extended work periods. Andrew Martin sofas are again positioned in the breakout area which are located to take full advantage of the unprecedented views as well as offering gaming options for employees to wind down.
As a focal axis to that view, Realys chose to reveal the server room supporting the floor via a decorative glazed partition and equipment racks illuminated by LEDs in XTX Markets’ corporate blue and boasts a fire suppression system for critical IT assets. The internal 4-person meeting room marries a weathered solid timber table with state of the art technology and writable wall surfaces.
Working with XTX Markets, Realys also assisted in locating artwork to complement XTX’s business model and approach, as well as reflecting the unique location overlooking the harbour. As a result, Realys has conceived and realised the new XTX Markets’ Singapore workplace as an edgy and technologically sophisticated reflection of its operations.
