Mazda Offices – Irvine
LPA, Inc. has designed the new offices of automotive company Mazda, located in Irvine, California.
The design of Mazda’s new 7,300-square-foot Western Regional office is reflective of the exciting new direction Mazda is taking with their branding and dealerships. Mazda’s Retail Evolution is bold and sophisticated, yet simple and elegant, which became the basis for the Western Region office design.
Dark accents throughout are balanced with the warmth of wood tones in the flooring and worksurfaces, as well as the natural light that fills the open office, collaboration spaces and breakroom. The large-scale, back-lit graphics add a dramatic element that reflects the new branding direction of Mazda’s dealerships.
The design includes sit-to-stand workstations and several different types of collaboration areas. The large open lounge is equipped with bar-height plug-and-play stations, lounge furniture and meeting tables to encourage conversation and collaboration. Demountable glass walls and sliding doors were used for the private offices and focus rooms.
