Ogilvy & Mather Offices – Shanghai
M Moser Associates has designed the new offices of advertising company Ogilvy & Mather, located in Shanghai, China.
Ogilvy and Mather’s new office, located in the WPP ‘vertical campus’ along with 26 other creative firms, functions as an open environment optimised for the modern concept of agile working. The internal connecting staircase and circulating floorplan stimulates collaboration across four floors, allows for work fluidity and inspires out-of-the-box thinking.
Unlike traditionally conservative offices, Ogilvy’s new space offers a spectrum of work environments to accommodate differing work styles and support organic movement. Designed with the employee’s best interests in mind, the workspace includes facilities such as pantries, a quiet room and game areas to create a sense of home and belonging.
East meets West in the design theme, with local motifs infused within the décor to forge a space that is grounded in its locale. The minimalistic yet artful atmosphere conveys a sense of quiet grandeur, fostering a community that embraces creative individuality.
