Microsoft Studio H Offices – Redmond
B+H Architects have designed Microsoft’s new Studio H offices, located in Redmond, Washington.

Designers represent an important minority at Microsoft the workplace guidelines developed for sales and developer groups did not accommodate their preferred way of working. Launching our design effort with user-group visioning, we identified space needs unique to this group. The 40,000sf space achieves the group’s vision through smart re-purposing of existing fit-up elements in addition to cost-effective new construction.
Our solution set a new bar for quality and cost management, bringing the project in 40% below Microsoft’s typical capital budget unit. Our resulting design has been acknowledged by the user groups as having captured the essence of their creative process.
