    • Vocon has designed the offices of plumbing company Oatey, located in Cleveland, Ohio.

    Based in Cleveland for 100 years, Oatey Company, a global manufacturer of quality plumbing products, recently built a new 47,000 square foot corporate headquarters in the Emerald Corporate Park. The site borders the Cleveland Metroparks, an extensive system of nature preserves in Cleveland, Ohio. The new headquarters consolidates staff and fosters stronger collaboration across teams.

    Vocon, one of the country’s largest design firms and one of the top 40 design firms internationally, helped the company build and design a state-of-the-art, energy-efficient workplace that accommodates its diverse and collaborative culture. The building features:

    • A 2,800 square foot exterior porch overlooking the picturesque Rocky River Valley
    • Native plant species throughout the landscape to be water-wise and respectful to the park
    • Bronze and stone exterior finishes to compliment the park setting
    • Interior and exterior amenities such as cafes, a variety of individual and group work stations, a fitness suite, outdoor picnic areas and an outdoor walking trail

    The building meets ASHRAE Standard 189.1 for the Design of High Performance Green Buildings and is tracking towards a LEED NC Gold Certification.
