o9 Solutions Offices – Dallas
Perkins+Will has designed the offices of software company o9 Solutions, located in Dallas, Texas.
Guests and employees enter o9 Solutions through the atrium of the building, greeted by a large backlit company logo. The main entrance opens up into a brightly lit central cafe and break area, outfitted with display screens where visitors can learn more about the start-up. o9ers can be seen working through various glass-enclosed spaces, exemplifying both the company culture and its non-hierarchal structure.
Adjacent to the break room is a large lounge area with swings and couch-style seating – perfect for impromptu meetings and brainstorms. Moving further into the office, visitors will find two conference rooms equipped with video conferencing and an open layout with workstations scattered throughout.
Numerous small huddle rooms featuring bold pops of color and unique graphics, reflective of o9’s “Smart, Simple, Fun” tagline, surround the workstations. This versatile design lends itself to both introverts – with enclosed workstations – and extroverts – with open and active spaces like “the Brain” for collaborative idea-generation. Across the hall is a large floor chess board and several shared offices.
Overall, the interior boasts a minimalist color palette, complemented by sleek furnishings.
