Checkout.com Offices – London
Superior Interiors designed the new offices of payment software company Checkout.com, located in London, England.
Checkout.com is an extremely technologically forward-thinking company, which have built a unique integrated model in the payment value chain.
When Checkout contacted Superior Interiors to help relocate them to their new office, conveniently located in the centre of London, we knew we had to create an office as innovative and professional as the brand itself.
Checkout is a constantly evolving company, so it was important to design an office that gave them room to expand their business. A large main area was constructed, with room for 100 people. Five meeting rooms were created, all with high end furniture, AC units that were sprayed black for a sleek feel, and room left on the walls for eye-catching artwork to be hung- three of which included bespoke conference tables with cable management and chrome leg finishes. To make the meeting rooms more interactive for employees, whiteboard paint walls were added. Two more casual meeting room’s accessory as a space for independent team meetings.
New concrete floor was assembled throughout, which establishes an industrial feel to the space. Their new kitchen has many desirable features, such as bespoke cabinets, fridges and Corian worktops and island. The reception area has a feature blue wall and a lightbox which adds beautiful personalisation.
With their employees in mind, the bathrooms were completely redesigned with showers, and private phone booths are now available as a concentration point. A striking feature of the office is the pendant lighting that has been placed throughout, giving the impression of a monochrome, sleek, and edgy feel. We also integrated a CCTV and door access system, and fire detection throughout.
