Hitachi Rail Europe Offices – London
Oktra designed the offices of transit company Hitachi Rail Europe, located in London, England.
Oktra were appointed to carry out a 13,000 sq ft fit out for railway system supplier Hitachi Rail Europe. Having outgrown their previous office space, Hitachi Rail were looking to establish a new headquarters in London to accommodate their growing organisation.
The brief was to provide a functional and engaging workspace in keeping with their brand. Hitachi wanted their new headquarters to be both corporate and fun incorporating various Japanese nuances throughout. Oktra developed an open plan office environment with a striking front of house, tea point and a large agile working area with several private meeting rooms.
Together, Oktra and Hitachi Rail created a forward thinking commercial workspace to help boost morale and encourage productivity. Their new headquarters reflect their organisation’s brand, heritage and functions as a versatile working environment.
