Avenues Parents Information Center Offices – São Paulo
Pitá Arquitetura have designed the Avenues Parents Information Center offices located in São Paulo, Brazil.
The school Avenues is going to open a new school this year in São Paulo, but while it’s not opened yet, a Parents Information Center (PIC) has been built, located at Itaim Bibi, in São Paulo, it follows the concepts of the school’s appearance, working as a showroom at the same time.
The entrance hall is covered with wooden planks painted to look like a blackboard filled with childlike drawings, creating an impacting hallway, driving the parents to the reception area. The corridor’s floor is covered with hardwood, and the walls are white, creating a lighter environment. The whole space, except at the test rooms, have an open ceiling, exposing the office’s concrete structure and infrastructure installations.
The opened waiting environment is cozy and fun, showing the visitors the school’s concepts, which leads them to the other side of the office, which is more intimate, composed by meeting rooms, with a great view of the city.
At the middle of the office, there is the presentations room, a big space with a video wall, movie theater sounding and comfortable armchairs, where the school presentations and events happen
