The Cove Coworking Offices – Brisbane
Collectivus designed the the Cove Coworking offices located in Brisbane, Australia.
A modern warehouse conversion in the creative hub of Newstead in Brisbane, the Cove Workspace is a brand new co-working hub for creative entrepreneurial minds to gather, share a space, get inspired.
Inclusive of 7 private offices, 5 meeting rooms, kitchen, break out and hot desks spaces, Cove also offers a tonne of membership perks such as a business concierge, the use of a hybrid BMW i3, underground parking, and onsite IT consultants and accountants.
Designed with the intent to inspire and fuel creativity, the brief demanded luxury and simplicity to provide a premium space for entrepreneurs to create, collaborate and connect. Featuring bespoke timber joinery, luxe brass finishes and a custom-built mezzanine level, The Cove provides a unique and premium workspace unlike any other in Brisbane.
Heavily influenced by elements of the ocean, the design aesthetic relates closely to the brand with an emphasis placed on deep sea blues, warm oak timbers and fluid shapes displayed in custom wall graphics.
Functionality was key throughout the design process with workspace zones defined by aesthetically transparent sliding doors, allowing office reconfiguration and the transformation of the lower level into a presentation space for industry events.
In collaboration with Vivid Lighting, Collectivus utilized natural light at the front of the building with floor to ceiling windows and continued this warmth into workspace with the use of indirect lighting throughout.
The Cove is the perfect balance between a premium workspace, with the comfort and convenience of an at home office in an inner-city location.
