AutoWeb Headquarters – Tampa
Create+Co. designed the headquarters for automative media and marketing service company, AutoWeb, located in Tampa, Florida.
As a leader of technology in the automobile industry, AutoWeb wanted to ensure the new Tampa space was strong on place identity and fully aligned with their strategic goals for innovation in their industry.
Sweeping riverfront meets hi-tech spaces – Set in the iconic Rivergate Tower, AutoWeb resides in an open two-level layout overlooking Kiley Gardens, Hillsborough River and Curtis Hixon Park. But the sweeping park and river views are just the beginning. It is an atmosphere heavily reliant on technology, connectivity and communication, where every inch empowers employees with an environment supportive of their success. Equipped with wall to wall writable surfaces, video conferencing, and an elevated sales manager floor for visibility; a variety of spaces and furniture allows individuals and teams to collaborate in the perfect location within their office…even an impromptu game of ping pong.
A stylish vehicle for a competitive spirit – Automobiles-by-Telecommunication is their business and this space embraces the look and emotion of how a new car makes you feel through its colors, finishes and materials. The technology portion of the business is the vehicle that makes it attractive to new employees and its competitive spirit in finding/making the sale keeps veterans coming back to push the limits. When co-workers who are striving towards a common goal connect and innovate, you can feel the energy.
Encouraging collaboration in a sleek, open space yields brilliant surprises, made possible by colleagues interacting naturally and spontaneously throughout the day. A generous number of gathering settings with a residential feel were provided that were identifiable and welcoming to workers. Shared angular workstations were a perfect fit to add the needed flexibility and focus to the open plan. And the implementation of key Haworth Collection furniture pieces [major supplier of leather to luxury car brands like Ferrari and Lamborghini] stylishly closed the loop on the connection between the space and culture.
