Endemol Shine Offices – Los Angeles
OKB Architecture with Unisource Solutions have realized the creative offices of Endemol Shine located in the North Hollywood area of Los Angeles, California.
Located in the growing Arts of District of North Hollywood, the project is for the establishment of new corporate headquarters (150,000 sf) for an international production company within 2 adjacent buildings and 7 floors. Creating a new hub of activity to consolidate all aspects of the company, the campus combines both administrative personnel and production teams that were previously spread across the city. The idea is to capitalize on the existing rawness of the space and give uniqueness to the space through more residential character of materials and finishes.
The environment is less about an office and more about an attitude that expresses the vitality of the company. To help create this attitude, we worked with Unisource Solutions to roll out a custom furniture program on the administrative floor, where the executive offices are located. A lounge-like aesthetic incorporates the client’s signature blue and gray tones throughout the workplace including: 5 lounges, the pantry-area, 5 collaborative spaces, 90 private offices, and 180 cubicle workstations.
The result is an open floor-plan designed to encourage interaction and convey a creative artsy mood apropos of the industry.
