Siam Commercial Bank Client Lab – Bangkok
MADA Design Factory was tasked with the design for the Siam Commercial Bank Client Lab located in Bangkok, Thailand.
These days, the number of entrepreneurs is increasing, especially in Bangkok. This project is located at Siam Square which is one of the largest shopping areas in Bangkok. Siam Commercial Bank (SCB) provides SCB LAB for customers who need to create the business that can support and help them to succeed in the business including loan and investment. There are many facilities to support customers, such as event, workshop, meeting room, product photograph area, and consultant area.
The design concept, regarding function, was created following the requirements and functions to support customers since space is bit tiny. The storage area was built by using the vertical line, for instance, the colourful stools for the event and workshop are kept in the vertical cabinet near the advertisement monitor. Regarding look and feel, we considered using the natural scheme, such as white and wooden material integrating tree as a real nature. In contrast, the corporate visual identity was integrated by using the colourful furniture and graphic design on the ceiling. Moreover, the design was maximised the natural light including an artificial ceiling skylight.
