Fraktio Offices – Helsinki
Franz Design has created a home-like space for the employees of Fraktio, a web services and mobile application company located in Helsinki, Finland.
IT company Fraktio moved into their new office in Kamppi, Helsinki in Fall 2017. Fraktio wanted Franz to design a home like spaces where people would like to hang out also after working hours. The office has everything you would ever need at home including a DiY space, panorama sauna and an old secret movie theatre.
One of the most important things for Fraktio was to have spaces to gather around with the entire staff. The result was to invest in a spacious communal kitchen & dining area created bespoke for Fraktio. The dining area blends into the lounge area and continues into a flexible stage at the other end of the rectangular space.
As a Finnish company, people of Fraktio naturally kick back together in a sauna in which Franz was able to help realize. The office is located at the center of Helsinki on the 8th floor which made it possible to create one unique sauna with a steam room wall fully glazed to reveal the most important feature of the design – the view.
