Vapa Media Offices – Helsinki
Franz Design were tasked with the design for Vapa Media, a public relations firm located in Helsinki, Finland.
Vapa Media’s staff moved into their new office in spring 2018. The client had a clear vision of an open and functional space. The spatial concept was created around the company’s vision of themselves and the way they wanted to express their identity.
For Vapa Media, it was important to have fresh and inspiring spaces to create visual content. Vapa Media was did not want a boring workplace and desired using strong colors to make a statement – a theme which Franz Design was very glad to work with.
The office is located in a historically protected building where the elevator wall was one of the largest elements to be preserved. The entrance lobby was designed around the wooden elevator wall to give a warm welcome to the visitors of Vapa Media but to also function as a communal gathering space for the staff.
