MGTS Offices – Moscow
Lifeforms designed the offices for telecommunications provider, MGTS (Moscow City Telephone Network) located in Moscow, Russia.
Lifeforms designed the new office for MGTS, located in Moscow, Russia. MGTS (Public Joint Stock Company Moscow City Telephone Network) provides telecommunication, Internet, and television services for individual and corporate customers in Russia. The office accommodates the accounting department.
Architects converted former telephone exchange building into modern open plan office. Office got bright airy space filled with light. Taking advantage of the ceiling height all cable and ducts are made exposed. House-like structures with pitсhed roofs are inspired by historical buildings of the place. Monochrome color scheme is applied to all working areas. Furniture is made from light oak veneer. Bright accents are made in common spaces and transit areas. Space idea is to divide long nave to two separated working areas which are visually connected with the systems of windows and openings. Acoustic panels of off-white colors and cylindrical lights forms employee’s friendly acoustic environment. Carpet tiles layout is used to make different floor zones.
