Along the ring road of Geel, the new office building ‘The Willis Building’, introduces itself as the first building of the new innovation park of Thomas More. The building will set an example for the following properties that will be built on the site, in the near future.

The Willis Building houses a warehouse, offices and showroom for ‘Belcotec’ and ‘Clevr’. The façade is finished with the same material in exposed concrete and designed as a whole entity. Both offices and warehouse are designed with large glazed surfaces, from floor to ceiling, creating a pleasant working environment that provides maximum contact with the landscape.

Open landscape offices fill up the ground level, with some individual offices and meeting rooms on the front façade. These spaces are divided with glass to maintain maximum transparency. Centrally a volume was created for the fixed features (toilets, printing room, staircases and meeting room). The executive offices are located on the first floor, as well as the polyvalent space and showroom, adjacent to the roof terrace. This multipurpose room will serve as a meeting room, flex workplace, dining and relaxation space. A new way of working is created in the building.

While the façades are created with concrete panels, the floors and wall coverings inside are finished with wood, creating a warm, pleasant working environment.
