Jinding Offices – Melbourne
Rothelowman has designed the offices for property services company, Jinding, located in Melbourne, Australia.
Designed by Rothelowman and built by Schiavello Construction, Jinding Australia’s new office in Melbourne’s landmark Rialto building showcases an elegant and minimalist aesthetic to reflect the company’s values of honesty, integrity and delivering on promises within the built space.
The generous reception area makes a striking first impression with a stunning backdrop of floor to ceiling perimeter glazing on all sides highlighting the uninterrupted panoramic and somewhat vertiginous view of Melbourne CBD as seen from the 53rd floor.
Aluminium veneer ceiling battens characterise the arrival experience in black and timeless marble floor tiles. Coordinating the installation of the 1x1m floor tiles required finesse but was key to defining the spaciousness of the area.
The design retains an architectural grain consistent with high-end residential properties featuring a muted monotone colour palette combining with the richness and lustre of high quality finishes including Herman Haemus marble and natural oak complementing a large stone cut company sign providing a paired back aesthetic that speaks of unostentatious luxury.
