Techbase Vietnam Offices – Ho Chi Minh City
DESIGN & CREATIVE ASSOCIATES were in charge of the design for the Techbase Vietnam offices located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
We planned the new office of TECHBASE VIETNAM which is Yahoo! JAPAN’s overseas development hub in Hochiminh city. It was a request from the client that it became an office space where employees were proud to work here and loved by employees.The aim was to stimulate the creativity of each young and energetic employee and to create a space where their performance could be maximized.
There is a refreshment space between the entrance and the work area, where meeting, dining, table tennis, recreation such as video games, and a seminar for about 50 people can be held. We designed this space that everyone can use freely and can take active communication.
The work area of the L-shaped plan has a multipurpose space in the corner, and the entire floor can be viewed from the stage installed there. This is a distinctive space where you can respond to company presentations and events held by all employees. We selected natural materials such as wood, brick tiles and rope etc. to create a soft and warm atmosphere.
In order to reflect the client’s intention, “the office loved by employees”, volunteers were asked to draw pictures freely on the wall of the work area.Because we thought that they would have each other’s connection and attachment by having them join the office construction.
