For its new headquarters, NADA was looking not only for a bold, fresh look, but also saw an opportunity to capitalize on current and future workplace trends. As the premier trade organization representing over 16,500 franchised new car and truck dealerships, NADA wanted their new home to balance their rich history and established culture with a more agile and creative work environment. The result is a space with two distinct personalities. The 5th floor is home to the Association’s leadership and staff. The environment is clean, sophisticated, and tailored. With an eye towards the automotive industry, the space is expressive of its fine materials, craftsmanship, and the joy of motion. At the center of the floor are the reception and boardroom spaces, designed with flexibility to be combined into a large event space. The reception is punctuated by a new internal floating stair connecting the Association floor with the Academy floor below. Home to the NADA Academy, the 4th floor is decidedly more edgy and raw, in line with an environment dedicated to education and training in the digital world. Also on the 4th floor is the NADA Café, a space for both the Association and the Academy to socialize and commune together. By combining a sense of history, craft, speed, and community, the new NADA Headquarters is rooted in the Association’s rich history while poised to lead it into the future.
