DSV Offices – Ho Chi Minh City
AKI Design has designed the offices for the global transport company, DSV, located in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.
As a global transport & logistics company, 2019 DSV joined forces with Panalpina Well-transport, becoming the world’s fourth largest transport and logistics company, DSV selected AKI Design to design and build its new head-office in Ho Chi Minh City Vietnam.
DSV’s requirements are to create a creative workspace, expressing core values and strengthen their Brand Identify System into the workplace where staff could host events and invite partners and customers from the region for business meetings, while inspires collaboration and facilitates meaningful connections promoting the well-being of staff and guests.
With this main goal and to deal with it, we offered & transferred the “horizontal line” images which is the symbol of transport & logistics industry by the containers on the truck & port is the main concepts of the design language for this project. It is the stripe lines from different kinds of materials like the wooden CNC louver in the welcome Area, Reception counter or Meeting room, partition and workstation among the workspace.
Manifesting unique brand identities: The entrance and welcome Area lead visitors to a bright and fully encapsulates the essence of hospitality and DSV`s industry. Using The dark blue color for carpet tile, blue pantone for working table partition, sofa & bench, some funny iconographic about Transport & Logistics firm at the corridor. We also bring more neutral colors like White for tabletop, Grey carpet tile for the working area to make the space more modern & uniform like the other DSV offices oversea.
Bringing the air-plants from an outside in: To bring the nature & relaxing spirit to the workspace when walking into the office, and a spirit of taking care of the mental, emotional and physical well-being of its people. Trees and plants thoughtfully placed around the office help clean the air and bring more nature into the working areas, each amplified by natural sunlight and sustainable materials, to create a workplace environment that is green and healthy in every way.
Enhancing functional of spaces: All private offices are privately by glass partition which has an open view and connecting with the open working area where the employees not only reach high attention in a cubicle workstation but also have more open space to communicate with each other, each team can connect easily with other teams, to have “focus” to contribute more “expansion” values for DSV`s development, beside the open discussion area, we have put a leveling stairs to make this “breath talk” space more interesting & functional.
DSV HCMC Office design is one of successful projects that won AK Interiors praises of customers. By all solutions, we are confidently to ensure that all DSV’ s employees feel their workspace wasn’t infused with the company culture and values – it was well-designed with functional.
