Merjent Offices – Minneapolis
Studio BV recently realized the office design for Merjent, an environmental consultant located in Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Merjent is a company dedicated to providing environmental consulting services to the oil and gas industry. The founders sought to set themselves apart by providing these services with integrity and efficiency in a cost-effective way.
Exploring the concept of impact, the design concept highlights the engineering and scientific discovery that Merjent’s teams create and the impact they have on the earth. Concepts like digging, drilling, tunneling, wind turbines and solar panels are all impacts of technology on the earth. Exploring this concept also highlights the impact Merjent has on their clients. The design concept focuses on patterns, connections and soft organic forms to express the idea of impact. Organic and geometric patterns connect to the carving and sculpting of the earth through technology. Imprinted patterns create change, distortion and connections.
