Warner Music Offices – Taipei
iDA Workplace were engaged by entertainment and record label giant, Warner Music, to instill a sense of elegance in their offices located in Taipei, Taiwan.
At Warner Music’s office in Taipei, the overall feeling is simple but elegant.
With the design for the workplace, we combined solid wood and metal to create a unique and interesting harmony between two contrasting materials. iDA took inspiration from a modern café to craft a reception area that removes the traditional reception desk in favor of a welcoming and relaxing waiting area.
The stage, café, and reception area are all interconnected and serve to create a simple and comfortable atmosphere.
iDA incorporated elements of the recording industry as decorative motifs to accentuate WMG’s history. Examples of these decorative additions include the “On Air” sign outside of meeting rooms which indicate they are occupied, and the oversized image of a “Play” button that emphasizes Warner Music’s corporate identity. Wood and glass are incorporated throughout the workspace as a nod to recording studios.
