New office for IT division of Raiffeisen Bank Aval, the largest Ukrainian bank with foreign capital. Today, Raiffeisen Bank Aval provides a wide range of banking services, serving over 2.5 million Ukrainian customers through a nationwide network of 500 branches all over the country.

The office located in the heart of the historical and business part of Kiev. This building is Premium Business Class A center on the bank of the Dnieper. The client’s decision to dwell on this location is dictated by a developed business infrastructure, the proximity of the subway, the presence of ground and underground parking, a comfortable lobby, cafes and restaurants, which are qualitatively different from other BC Astarta buildings for rent of office real estate.

Partner Design’s main goal was to create a functional workspace for 500 employees. On an area of 4000 m2, we have placed office areas and a lot of rooms for presentations, lectures, seminars (both for solving work issues and for staff training). All rooms are transformed to the individual needs of employees with the help of mobile partitions, tables and chairs. The lounge area can be used as a full-fledged game, and rooms for meetings, presentations, and even as additional work platforms.

The concept is based on the bank’s brand book. To emphasize that the IT department is located in the structure of the bank, we have offered bright colors as accents in combination with a monochrome and restrained image. The design maintains a balance between the corporate component and the comfortable atmosphere.

The planning solutions is based on the concept of avoiding a large number of long narrow and non-functional corridors. This is realized due to the transit zones near the open spaces, which are designed not linearly, but with the help of broken lines.

The work areas in the office are combined – many open spaces and few offices. The seating of employees is often linear, but zoned with the help of glass partitions, complex lines in the layout and decorative elements.

We use mobile partitions and light chairs in the conference rooms – they allow adapt the space to a specific situation.

Feature of recreation areas – versatility and adaptability. Most of them can be used as informal meeting rooms. At the same time, the lounges are decorated with brighter colors and expressive elements.
In lighting, we have tried to strike a balance between general, directional and decorative light to increase employee productivity and streamline space.
