Collins Aerospace Offices – Singapore
Dedicated to continually evolving their expertise in the field of aviation, Collins Aerospace wanted to reflect that boldness in the design of their new office space in Singapore.
ID21 worked closely with Collins Aerospace to design an office reflective of their dedication to aviation innovation in Singapore.
ID21 managed to convey Collins Aerospace’s mission through an unconventional and sleek office entryway.
Collins Aerospace is an energetic brand with motion at its very core, and this is embodied in a vibrant work environment. The layout incorporates various work settings, such as fixed and hot desks as well as focus and collaboration zones. The turbine engine, which is also used in the company logo, translates this same brand essence. Other elements of an aircraft – such as the plane fuselage, engine and cockpit or the landing runway were integrated into the design concept of the office space.
Built around the idea of space optimisation to enhance employee well-being, the design focuses on maximising daylight and smooth flow of people. ID21 designed user routes that connect different spaces which cater to different needs – from silent work to collaboration and meeting. Other aspects of the design catered to the space division by work departments.
