Alcove Designs was tasked with giving the IndiGrid offices a young, industrial, yet elevated feel for their space in Mumbai, India.

Design an office for this young company that meets with their current and future requirements and exudes their image appropriately to its internal team and the outside world.Client expectations
Raw, rustic and yet elegant design with a clear hint of company’s true business and values communicated aptly across the entire office space.Challenges
Design challenges were addressed well by the experienced design team. It was the pandemic that hit just before the start of construction and a thought process to re-design the entire office to meet with the current situation and its future requirements, followed with material and labor availability issues thus compelling to construct from a limited set of resources and re-aligning everything within a short span of time was the largest challenge for this project delivery for Alcove.Alcove approach
A blend of Industrial-Elegance was the approach that Alcove took in their journey to deliver the project. Large open spaces, exposed elements, raw visible objects in metal in their true form, wood and concrete textures, this rugged and edgy yet sophisticated design style has caught the attention of millions of people across the globe. Alcove and IndiGrid being no exception to that, worked towards it and delivered this fascinating interiors together.Introduction of biophilia in the interiors, concept of controlled transparency and colors to enhance the mood of the space were amongst the key design sensibilities that were overlaid on the base-concept to achieve an elegant, energetic, and yet raw and rustic office space.
