The new office reflects our client’s innovative and collaborative culture while offering their employees convenient access to public transportation and areas amenities. It was important that the design reflect our client’s mission: to prioritize employee wellbeing and experience. With the help of some of our industry partners, we thoroughly studied current workplace strategy and relevant trends and applied our findings to a cohesive and successful design.

With an expansive window line and by designing private offices and huddle rooms to the core of the space, we were able to offer 85% of employees window seats. Low workstation panels and dividers allow light to filter through to the core spaces which are enclosed with glass to maximize natural light. With a desire to offer choice and flexibility, the main café offers a “town hall” experience, a working café, reconfigurable collaboration space, or a place of refuge for independent work . We created an outdoor lounge area to take advantage of agreeable weather. The second-floor coffee bar lounge was designed off the connecting stair to allow for a visual connection between the two floors.

Knowing that the hybrid workstyle is here to stay, meeting rooms integrate technology to support both in-person and remote participants. The huddle rooms and meeting rooms were essential in the planning to accommodate technology to support the hybrid worker, simultaneously offering both flexibility and functionality. With the help of their trusted design partner, the team took the opportunity to reimagine their brand and how they do business, thus creating a more collaborative, flexible environment that powers both physical and remote workplaces work to co-exist.

The entire team took great pride in designing, collaborating, and communicating to find creative ways to execute this project during the pandemic, to ultimately ensure that our clients’ new office came to life.
