  • Huynchi created a space for Allianz offices with multiple work areas while utilizing the natural light and view in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam.

Since 1890, The Allianz Group has been one of the world’s leading insurance and integrated financial services providers. It has a strong presence in more than 70 countries, serves over 100 million customers with a wide range of products, services, and solutions in insurance and asset management. In 2020, Allianz announced a digital joint venture (JV) with FPT Group and entered Vietnam’s general insurance market. Building on the momentum of its global ranking and expansion, its first Vietnamese office in the Friendship building needed a design that would sustain the Allianz spirit and foster innovation.

Activate the dynamic flow in the secured office
Allianz has a clear view of what they want. Because of its worldwide scale, it is important for Allianz to consistently maintain corporate identity across multiple representative offices. The office design must demonstrate corporate culture: to evolve towards a more agile, customer-oriented, and collaborative mindset.

The project was kicked off in the middle of COVID-19 pandemic when business travels were brought to a standstill. All the key persons of the new Allianz venture were located in different countries, which made it even more complicated to communicate.

    Solutions
The design team aimed to create the most timeless and dynamic venue it could imagine: a wide-open space without limitation. Internal areas, reception, hot-desk, cafeteria, and collaboration areas were now integrated. Clients were given full control of the space, and the ability to integrate and transform it into a town hall at any given time.

To reinforce Allianz’s values statement, transparent, high-quality, and cutting-edge materials in an accessible layout were embodied into the environment. Of equal importance was crafting a visual experience with the brand’s colours that captures the essence of the professional demeanour of a global corporation.

Under the strain of COVID-19 crisis, our project team had evolved and adapted with a massive amount of ideas by brainstorming and discussions. We walked our client through the whole project, from conceptual design, materials selection, procurement, construction to the final acceptance test.

We are proud to deliver the project within the 2-month- period as committed, satisfy the brand guidelines and international standards while still complying with the strict regulations of the building and the local authorities.
