MoneyFellows Offices – New Cairo City
Adze Designs brought comfortability and versatility to the MoneyFellows offices in New Cairo City, Egypt.
Adze Designs took on the challenge of giving MoneyFellows FinTech company a state-of-the art workplace that would invite knowledge-based workers come back to the office and inspire them to do their very best work.
MoneyFellows is a booming Fintech company that provides smart saving options through the use of evolutionary technology to create and support trusted and convenient money circles.
The success of the company led them to seek a bigger workplace on the ground floor of an office building in the business district of New Cairo, Egypt. The gross area of the space is 700 square metres and now hosts 45 workers with a flexible design that allows to increase it up to 75 people.
In the client brief, It was clear that their primary goal was to provide their team with the best working environment. They wanted a exquisite space that reflects the organizational values that calls for trust, collaboration, and innovation while embracing the change and constantly setting the sights higher than what was previously imagined.
Based on the pre-design studies, we realised that our design challenge is to craft a stimulating space that strikes the right balance between consonance and dissonance. To address such a challenge, we opted for an ‘Activity Based Workplace’ layout. This includes a mix of quiet and open workspaces, small meeting rooms, a huddle room in addition to a large work lounge. The wide diversity of work settings gives the employees the choice to decide where to work according to the nature of the task in hand.
To develop a personalised space for MoneyFellows, environmental graphics are incorporated to reflect the organization’s identity. On the walls of the cafeteria stands a street artwork inspired by the core values of the company. A parametric shell of wooden arches runs across the space, enclosing the zone between the workspaces and the open lounge.
