    Diversity, Integration, Inclusiveness
The new premise of CCD Shanghai headquarters is located in The Roof, a new iconic landmark in Xintiandi, the core area of Shanghai’s central business district. The Roof was designed by award-winning French architect Jean Nouvel, who has created a plenty of world-well known projects including the National Museum of Qatar, the Louvre Abu Dhabi, One Central Park, Philharmonie de Paris, etc.

The history of old Shanghai has left a profound impact on this neighborhood. It is an honor for CCD to create an urban space that blends together the city’s fabrics, vibrant parasol trees, traditional alleys, and residential-style greenery.

This era embraces integration between design and art, work and life, beauty and practicality. Traditional boundaries and rules are broken, and lifestyle keeps evolving.

In the bustling concrete jungle of Shanghai’s CBD, a quiet, comfortable and user-friendly working and social scenario is unveiled. For those CCD staff who regard inspiration as life, this space fuses both life and work.

As designing this headquarters office, CCD valued and implemented the four principles of “art, humanism, efficiency, and warmth”. Focusing on the emotional needs of employees, the design team explored the new aesthetic values of future workspace by incorporating nature and art.

Enjoy Life in Work, Inspire Work in Life
Abandoning the monotonic “cubicles”, the design team reshaped traditional functional space with modern design ideas, adding elegance and aesthetics to practicality.

This is a space that revolutionizes traditional office form. It accommodates office area, coffee bar, open kitchen, book bar, single-user acoustic office pods, multi-functional conference rooms, and salon area, etc.

This is not only a workplace, but also provides a venue for holding art salons, movie parties, academic meetings, coffee cuppings, and other business and leisure activities.

It is also an exhibition hall of the world’s top materials, a museum of material brands. The latest materials of top brands worldwide are exhibited along the walls, forming a display gallery to be appreciated while walking.

Each material is a creative new product selected by CCD with a focus on the latest technology and the concept of sustainability, so as to build a connected online and offline technology platform to achieve the interconnection of everything and promote cooperation and innovation.

Openness, Borderless, New Interpretation of Workspace
By thinking out of the box, CCD adopted a mix-and-match approach to create a casual elegance. The integration of greenery, CBD landscape, sunshine, industrial-style elements and visually dramatic paintings makes the coffee bar appear like a small art gallery.

The open kitchen incorporates Oriental catering etiquette. The island provides a space for drinking or buffet dinner, satisfies diverse needs and shows versatility of the space. With food as the medium, this area brings people together and stimulate casual, sincere communication. Delicious food, refreshing wine and the beautiful cityscape outside the window enable the staff to unwind subconsciously. Relaxing atmosphere and laughter linger around the open kitchen.

We gather here to enjoy a fabulous experience, to feel our value, and to make work more than just work.

This is an extremely relaxing and cozy place for communication. Its restrained yet diversified layout and color palette, the warm sense of sophistication and the elegant temperament reveal the unique taste of CCD.

It is not only a functional workspace, but also a warm, welcoming place with hospitality.

It is not only CCD’s Shanghai-based headquarters, but also a window to the industry and a living room for entertaining guests.
