  • MOIZ designed a sophisticated and functional space for the Paseo Ruzafa coworking offices in Valencia, Spain.

The 1,000-square-metre space is situated in an office building with a remarkable façade composition which served as reference for the interior design.

Situated in a prime location at the city centre, the aim was to create a premium and flexible workspace with the highest architectural standards which would become a unique space in the city.

The space has been designed from a user experience approach, delivering a variety of flexible spaces where the boundaries between work and leisure have been blurred, allowing social interactions and collaboration to flourish.

The closed private spaces like meeting rooms and refreshing areas can be found deep within the floorplate in the perimeter liberating the centre and creating a free-flowing space. The workspaces are open plan and have been placed next to the 2 facades looking for the daylight and generating two parallel working axes.

The entrance hall, at the heart of the office, connects these two-axis creating a singular social space. A space furnished with many breakout areas, and a variety of soft seating options that enable and catalyse interactions. This breakout areas are also introduced inside the workplace axis breaking the continuity of the space.

The material palette is used to distinguish the different spaces and indicate the level of privacy of these. Dark colours and dark tone of wood cover the small and closed spaces reflective of the intimate nature of the activities with. In contrast, brighter spaces are given over to coworking areas and social spaces where white and light tones of wood are used. Carefully managed acoustics and woodwork integrated in different surfaces and furniture contribute to the comfort of the space.
