  • Bluespace struck a balance of modern and warmth using materials and furniture in the Pikl offices in Norwich, England.

Following their move into the Atrium on St Georges Street, Norwich, Pikl Insurance Services ltd invited Bluespace to assist them in furnishing their new workplace. This project gave us the opportunity to work closely with local furniture manufacturer and designer Quanstrom Studio. Our role was to specify and supply furniture for their new space, adhering to the minimalist yet unique style of branding Pikl displays.

In the open plan office space, contemporary wooden bench desking was installed, accompanied by modular lockers with contrasting coloured doors and Airflex Task Chairs by Elite – not only does the design of the Airflex match the office decor, these chairs are also ergonomically designed to ensure the wellbeing of the user. We also installed bespoke banquette seating for their breakout area.

A key feature in this project is the Mono Giant Table, situated in their meeting space. Visually striking, perfectly weighted for optimal stability and allows for an absolutely exceptional seating capacity, it’s the perfect boardroom table.

With partitions often regarded as outdated, a solution for this is the Komfort glass partitioning installed throughout the office. These glass partitions allow for light to flow through the space, giving the impression of an open plan office, whilst also having acoustic benefits of noise reduction. Alongside these partitions a sliding, folding glass wall to assist with noise levels and help with privacy. Contemporary Concrete-Effect LVT Flooring was laid throughout the space for a contemporary look.

The result? A modern and minimal space, which is still unique and does not compromise on comfort. Using raw and raw-inspired materials helps to create a versatile and adaptable finish to any interior space. This project has become a firm favourite with the Bluespace team.
