Centrix, a leading design and build firm, we have recently relocated to a larger office space in Bangalore, which we consider our home. With a focus on providing high-performance workplace solutions to our clients, we aimed to create an office environment that not only defines our identity but also fosters collaboration and reflects our company culture. We will be exploring the unique features and design elements of our new office on the next few mins.

Situated in the vibrant neighbourhood of Koramangala, Bangalore, our office enjoys a prime location. The building overlooks a beautiful park and boasts a massive tree that serves as a natural connection between the park and the office space. The allure of this location was further enhanced by a spacious balcony, which provides a stunning view of the tree and brings a touch of nature into the office. To enhance the biophilic design concept, numerous plants and greenwall have been incorporated throughout the office, creating a seamless connection between the indoors and the outdoors.

We take inspiration from the visionary artist, Leonardo da Vinci. Following the principles of anthropometrics, which explore form, volume, space, and scale, the office design pays homage to Da Vinci’s influence. The central element that connects the 2nd and 3rd floors is a life-size giraffe sculpture, symbolizing the seamless connection between the design team to the planning, procurement, projects, accounts admin and the HR along with the business development. Furthermore, the focal point of the office is a dedicated wall featuring a handpainted artwork and sculpture inspired by Da Vinci’s iconic Vitruvian Man. Every piece of artwork in the office is meticulously hand-painted, adding a unique touch to the workspace.

This office is not just a place for work, it is a hub of creativity, collaboration and fun, where we take fun too seriously,(along with work). The design incorporates various elements to encourage a positive and energetic atmosphere. The space includes cosy corners, phone booths, a vibrant café area, and recreational zones featuring a pool table and table tennis.

These spaces provide employees with opportunities to relax, recharge, and engage with each other, fostering a sense of togetherness and team spirit.

The color palette of the office primarily revolves around monochrome tones, creating a sleek and sophisticated ambiance. However, splashes of color are introduced strategically through artwork, plants, and the presence of the employees themselves. This combination of monochrome with vibrant accents adds dynamism and personality to the workspace.

The Office promotes an open and fluid work environment to facilitate collaboration and communication. The office layout features hot desks, collaborative meeting areas, Design LAB and phone booths, allowing employees to choose the most suitable workspace for their daily tasks. The concept of fluidity extends to the lighting design, where we carry forward our old logo into the lighting detail which was incorporated, representing continuity and connecting the office’s past and present.

This new office goes beyond being a traditional workplace. It embraces the philosophy that work and celebration go hand in hand.
