Shaw Industries Offices – Dalton
HLGstudio delivered an open and dynamic office space for Shaw Industries in Dalton, Georgia.
Global flooring provider, Shaw Industries, engaged HLGstudio to reimagine Plant 72, the company’s largest administration building in Dalton as a desirable destination to work. The multi-phased renovation project kicked off with the second floor housing two teams with a new hybrid work model: IT and Business Solutions. These two highly collaborative teams had similar goals for the office: to become a versatile place for collaboration and social interaction. Through a floor plan with a higher ratio of open office to private office, various size meeting spaces and lounge areas were provided to give the teams a choice for where to meet while also showcasing Shaw’s products on the floors and walls in both the architectural materials and through a strong graphic marketing initiative. HLGstudio is continuing to work with Shaw on the renovation of the building addressing the specific needs for each department to create a transformative work experience that has consistent design language throughout the building’s five floors.
