ruCREATIVE thoughtfully utilized lighting and greenery in the Strativ offices in Leeds, England.
Upon entering Strativ’s new office, visitors are greeted by an impressive greenery wall, complete with the brand’s iconic logo. This lush welcome sets the tone for a space infused with natural textures and colour harmony, amplified by bespoke banquette seating and a unique material palette of soft concrete, distressed leathers, and vibrant floor stripes. Moving through the space there’s a pair of intimate, four-person booths, furnished in distressed leather and flanked by half-height wooden panels for secluded breakout sessions.
A show-stopping tea point area combines industrial chic with biophilic design, featuring preserved trees and rustic oak flooring, creating an inviting, semi-private space for staff. Custom lighting and design continuity further enhance the cohesive look, balancing aesthetics with practicality.
Strativ required two specialised meeting rooms—one formal and the other designed for podcast recording. Drawing inspiration from 1980s New York recording studios, the podcast room mixes vintage flair with modern function. Acoustic panels and rustic oak flooring meet vibrant rugs and custom lighting, striking a balance between retro authenticity and contemporary workspace needs.
The formal meeting room diverges from corporate sterility, opting for a laid-back but polished atmosphere. Distressed leather chairs in muted tones surround a sleek, matte-black table, while innovative lighting solutions and wall designs complete the unique, edgy environment.
Last but not least, Strativ’s Wellness Room epitomises their focus on employee well-being. This bespoke installation features a hanging rattan chair, faux grass hills for seating, and suspended greenery, offering a sanctuary for mental refreshment. A continuous seating area was crafted to elevate the room’s natural feel. With its diverse, harmonious spaces, Strativ’s office embodies a holistic approach to work-life balance.
