Perkins&Will created an industrial space for the Arm Candy offices in Dallas, Texas.
Arm Candy, an advertising and media agency, recently tapped the designers at Perkins&Will to create a dynamic space that harnesses the creativity of its team. By translating the company’s digital presence into a physical space, the design team created an energetic and playful office that blends modern elements with industrial chic design.
While flexible, the plan doesn’t follow a basic open office layout. Instead, designers offered the team a unique sense of space by arranging work neighborhoods. The plan is split between the two distinct neighborhoods, a central hub—comprising differently scaled huddle spaces, and conference rooms. This creates a variety of destinations at every turn with each nook being an opportunity for impromptu social moments and collaboration.
While the layout encourages interaction, it’s color that electrifies the space. Integration of Arm Candy’s purple, yellow, and pink loops the central hub in a rhythmic supergraphic, swooping from floor to ceiling across walls and glazing. High-saturation colors bathe the interior of the conference rooms and huddle spaces, making a jewel piece of this central hub.
